About Us

Guiding Principles

Our work is diverse, but regardless of the assignment, we’ve found remarkably consistent success by sticking to a few key ideals.

Elevate the Message

We believe that people respond to stories, and that the right messaging is a key component of a successful brand. Because of this, we make sure that what you say and how you say it gets treated with the same level of care as everything else you do.

Strive for Clarity

The modern world is complicated, and people will love you for making it easier to understand. We're constantly looking for ways to help our clients make a big impact with fewer words, while also emphasizing the role they can play in simplifying their customers' lives.

Be a Team Player

We have the maturity and flexibility needed to be as out-front or behind-the-scenes as the project demands. We're as comfortable partnering with agencies and design studios as we are working directly with owners, entrepreneurs, and in-house marketing teams.

Deliver Something Useful

Most of our clients have a goal in mind and are looking for help getting there. That's why we focus on useful, actionable deliverables. You don't need theory, you need something you can use tomorrow to tell customers or clients what makes you different.

About Us

We Know Places

We work across industries, but have a particularly strong affinity for all things connected to places or the built environment. We use a deep background in architecture and real estate to create brand strategies, names, and messaging for everything from small towns to urban-scale mixed-use developments.

Companies in related industries that include architecture, construction, engineering, development, and property sales also turn to Content & Context for help in attracting new clients and winning new business.

About Us

Austin ⇆ Los Angeles ✈️

Content & Context was founded in Austin, and although we switched our official mailing address to Los Angeles in 2019, we still maintain strong ties to the ATX. These days, we stay active in both cities – as well as working on other projects across the U.S. – with a steady diet of direct flights and rides on the always-convenient LAX Flyaway bus.

About Us

The Second Home Community

Content & Context is a proud resident of Second Home Hollywood. Second Home brings together entrepreneurial and creative businesses in an environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, diversity, and social awareness.

Let us know if you’re in the area and we’ll grab a coffee and show you around the building, which was originally designed in the 1960s by by Paul Williams, the first African American inducted into the American Institute of Architects. The building’s recent renovation included adding more than 6,500 trees to the two-acre site to create the densest urban forest in Los Angeles.
